The 140' Mari-Cha IV moored in Falmouth on the 9th of October just after demolishing the Trans-Atlantic sailing record. She is the first monohull to cover the official distance of 2925 nautical miles in under 7 days, taking over two days off the previous time set in 2001 by the Open 60 Armour-Lux. Not the most exiting shot of Mari-Cha ever taken but it gives an idea of her size from the height of her 147' masts compared to the yachts in the background.
