The keel stub was cleaned ready to be rejoined to the keel and the picture shows the cleaning half done. I found the 'face off' disk that I had used for removing the vinyl glue in the cabin was perfect for the job.
The top of the keel had a final polish the morning it was due to go back on. There are short lengths of stud in each hole to keep them clean and protect the threads.
The new lengths of threaded stud were fitted.
